MEMBERSHIP RULES & ENTITLEMENTS



1. Your membership is a family membership. You, your spouse, and children, under the
age of 18, are all included. You may bring a guest with you to our facility.

2. At signing you receive the gate lock combination. Each quarter you will receive the new
combination in your newsletter. You may enter and use ranges anytime after 10:00 A.M.
until dusk, except when scheduled events are taking place (which will be listed
in your newsletter). After entering, close gate and either lock or put lock in chain with gate closed. When leaving, close gate and lock.

3. Range Rules:

1. Eye and ear protection is required on all firearm ranges.
2. All firearms must remain unloaded until at the firing line.
3. Keep muzzle down range at all times when on the firing line.
4. All shooting must be done on targets that are attached to supplied backers.
5. No alcoholic beverages allowed on ranges. Alcohol is not to be consumed before or during any event.
6. Always anchor targets centered on backers.
7. Do not shoot at anything anchored to posts.
8. You may not shoot at bottles or glass objects.
9. Please pick up all shell casings when finished shooting.

4. Archery Range: The outside 3D course (because of the cost of targets) requires a shooting fee, which can be deposited in our drop-box.

5. All club meetings are the first Tuesday of each month. The Board of Directors meet at 5:30 P.M. and the regular membership meetings start at 7:00 P.M. Each member is credited with ½ hour towards his worked credit each time they attend a meeting.

6. A member who works eight hours during the membership year (Sept. – Aug.) will have
his/her dues reduced by half. Each member gets credit for time worked. For example
if a member and spouse work four hours each, their work credit for the year has been met. If a member’s child is seventeen and will be eighteen before Sept., and wishes to become a member on his/her own, he/she may do so at the ½ rate, if the family work time requirement has been met, and if she/he joins during the Sept. – Oct. time frame.

7. You may contact our officers, by phone, as listed in the newsletter. Or you may visit our
website at www.harrisonsportsmansclub.com., with any questions pertaining to the club.

8. As a member you are eligible to rent our clubhouse and kitchen facilities. Tables and chairs
are included. Contact any officer for scheduling and rates.

9. We have a large outdoor barbeque grill behind the clubhouse. It is available for members’
use. There are several picnic tables within the grounds that are also available for use.

10. A life membership is available to members, under the age of 55, for $700. and for members
over the age of 55, $400. This membership also entitles you to the free use of the clubhouse and kitchen facility, once each year, by notifying scheduling secretary. The date you request may not conflict with any scheduled club events.

11. Elections for officers and directors of the club are held every year at the September meeting.
We encourage you to attend meetings and become involved with club projects. Each
member over 18 years of age is eligible to run for an office. Dues must be paid to vote.

12. Dues are due on September 1st. There is a grace period until October 1st. After October 1st.
you lose credit for worked hours and must pay full dues.

13. Range Conflicts
    For safety reasons:
    Trap, 25 & 50 yd. ranges may not be used when pistol or archery range is in use.
    Archery & pistol ranges may not be used when 25 & 50 yd. ranges are being used.

At our Club:
    Large clubhouse with kitchen and ranges as described below.
    100 yd. range – 12 position rifle range with pavilion.
    50 yd. range – 8 position rifle range with pavilion.
    25 yd. range – 5 position rifle range with pavilion.
    10 positions – 6 distances pistol range.
    Trap range – with heated range house – year around shooting.
    28 target – outside – 3D archery range.
    20 yd. inside – heated archery range.
    Free youth instructional archery – in winter.
    Pellet league – instructional – in winter.
    Youth instructional 22 rifle training in summer.
